Wrath of the Lich King in World of Warcraft is now a board game. Pandemic is a classic board game of publisher Z-Man, where players can work together to prevent the spread of the raging virus. The Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack in World of Warcraft aims to prevent the natural disasters of the Lich King from sweeping across Northrend. They are basically the same game, so Blizzard and Z-Man combined the two into World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King-pandemic system board game, which will be launched later this year.

Since 2008, board game players all over the world have been enjoying this pandemic system, but instead of fighting the recent threat of causing a big blow to their homes, they joined forces to cross the frozen continent of Northrend and end World of Warcraft. Not very friendly undead. They will interact with heroes and villains in massively multiplayer online games, such as the currently controversial banshee queen Sylvanas Windrunner, the human-loving orc Jesus Thrall, and the very, very dead former King of Stormwind Varian Wrynn.
In order to promote this new game, which is currently available for pre-order on the Z-Man website for $60, Blizzard has produced a cute little trailer. With the advent of the board game trailer, it is very dramatic.
